Developed and owned by the principals of Partners Development, this upscale shopping center is highlighted by a large "fresh market" grocery, a fuel center, an ATM, and twelve retail shops and office bays. Opened in June 1999, it was designed to compliment the adjoining Gettysvue Polo, Golf and Country Club, a $ 30,000,000 residential/golf development and attract shoppers from a primary market of more than 10,000 households within a three mile radius. In August 1999, The Center at Gettysvue received an Excellence Award by the Metropolitan Planning Commission for outstanding contributions to the community's appearance, reputation and well-being. It was one of eight local projects honored.
