After successfully completing an initial analysis of the capacity of this consortium of 85 doctoral-granting colleges and universities to develop a new Administrative and Research facility on its campus, Partners Development was retained by ORAU to provide turnkey Development Management services in creating the facility. Designed to serve 180 professionals, the facility totals 56,213 gross square feet. Included are: 20 private offices, 9 small meeting rooms, 2 deluxe conference rooms, 2 large computer-training classrooms, 159 large workstations, lounge/kitchen area, outdoor patios, landscaped walking trail, and 277 parking spaces. As part of the development, a corridor was constructed to connect the new office facility to an existing conference center. Partners also provided Development Management services to renovate and upgrade the Pollard Technology Conference Center that includes meeting spaces, training centers, and a multimedia auditorium that seats 300 people. The facilities opened in 2004.
