The University of Tennessee Research Park at Cherokee Farm is a research and development campus where the resources of a major research university, the University of Tennessee, and a leading national laboratory, Oak Ridge National Laboratory, are combined with globally recognized researchers expressly for the benefits of its tenants. The Joint Institute for Advanced Materials is a research facility located in the center of the campus with materials science investigation capabilities beyond those available anywhere else in the world.
